Ullapool Hill Viewpoint

This viewpoint was designed during 1999/2001 [my 6th year at high school]. It was completed on site in 2002. Designed for the Ullapool Community Forest Group, it is located up Ullapool Hill.  I was responsible for the design and drawing work, the poetry is Lauren Macloed’s and the stonework was built by Brian Wilson.

Whilst studying art at Ullapool high I had my first chance to develop my creative skills.

This nude,from my sixth year portfolio course, is one of my favourites. I was quite obsessed with Cezanne – the use of blue line here probably comes from the influence of his work.
